Senior UXUI mobile designers

Travoom•Austin, TX

About The Position

OleOle is seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Product Designer to lead design for consumer-facing products, with mobile native iOS and Android experiences as the priority. The role spans native mobile, web, and tablet, and focuses on creating polished, intuitive experiences across social feeds, messaging and calls, short-form video, live football scores, football information, onboarding, and fan engagement. The designer will own major product areas from concept through implementation, develop user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity production-ready designs, and help build a unified design system. The role works directly with company leadership, designers, frontend engineers, and product teams to shape product direction, improve existing designs, and establish standards for design quality and craftsmanship. It is a hands-on, independent senior position requiring strong visual judgment, clear communication, and comfort working in an entrepreneurial early-stage startup. OleOle is a pre-funding startup. Compensation accrues under a deferred-compensation arrangement and becomes payable following a successful funding event, subject to the agreement. After funding, the role is expected to transition to a competitive, market-based salary. The package also includes an opportunity for company equity and OleX token-based ownership participation. Funding is not guaranteed, and deferred compensation may never become payable if funding is not secured.

  • Substantial hands-on experience designing consumer-facing native iOS and Android applications.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design quality in shipped mobile products, including actual iOS and Android product experiences.

  • Experience designing complex consumer products with multiple interconnected features.
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining scalable design systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, and interactive prototyping.
  • Understanding of user psychology, engagement, retention, and product usability.
  • Experience collaborating directly with frontend engineers and product teams.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make sound design decisions without constant supervision.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and design critique skills.
  • Portfolio should show high-fidelity mobile screens, navigation systems, user flows, interaction patterns, complex consumer experiences, and clear explanations of personal ownership and contributions.
  • Must be able to produce beautiful, intuitive, production-ready consumer products; wireframes-only or research-only experience is not sufficient.
