About The Position

Aviva Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer for a 6-month contract position. This role is responsible for creating innovative and user-friendly experiences on customer-facing digital touchpoints. The position involves understanding user needs, conducting research, translating insights into functional designs, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality delivery. Requirements

• Proven experience in Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Experience conducting basic customer research.
• Understanding how to apply analytics and behavioural design in practice.
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• A passion for creating user-centered products.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility and its importance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Product Designers, Product Managers, Customer Experience, and engineers to integrate feedback into the design and development process.
• Facilitate design workshops and activities with a range of stakeholders in Aviva Canada.
• Advocate for the user perspective throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Product Design.
• Provide feedback to collaborators at multiple levels of the organization.
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Design digital experiences for both web and mobile customers.
