About The Position

The Advanced Effectors Guidance Systems department is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Subsystem Architect to lead architecture development for next-generation missile guidance, control, and sensing electronics. The position defines and drives the technical direction for high-reliability power conditioning, energy delivery, batteries, and precision analog subsystems operating in extreme missile environments. The architect evaluates, matures, and guides designs from early conceptual modeling through detailed design, integration, and transition to production. The role provides technical leadership across programs and partner and supplier efforts, owns cross-subsystem interfaces, and guides multidisciplinary teams in developing robust, reliable, and producible electrical power architectures. It includes technical strategy and trade studies, analysis of electrical and environmental performance, design reviews and risk reduction, hardware evaluation and failure analysis, and coordination with engineering and manufacturing disciplines. The position also contributes to technology roadmaps and long-term capability development across the portfolio. This is an onsite, U.S.-based role in Tucson, Arizona. An active and transferable U.S. government Secret clearance is required before the start date, and U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility. The stated salary range is $132,400–$251,600. Eligible applicants may receive benefits and may be eligible for annual short- or long-term incentive compensation, subject to program and business-unit conditions.
