About The Position

National Seating & Mobilities’ Senior Pricing Analyst is a detail-oriented self-starter responsible for development and implementation of controls and processes defining and maintaining a cohesive pricing strategy across Canada. In collaboration with procurement, operations and finance teams the Pricing Specialist will lead the revamp and standardization of our pricing processes optimizing the value of our products and services to our clients and our organization. This role is an in person role, and can be based out of any of our branches in Canada. The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who excels at developing original solutions and can confidentially navigate digital tools and systems to turn ideas into impactful results.

Requirements

  • Strong grounding in pricing strategy, including practical applications of concepts such as: • Price elasticity of demand • Willingness to pay analysis • Competitive price benchmarking • Value-based vs cost-plus pricing
  • Demonstrated ability to apply pricing strategy with sensitivity to customer context, including awareness of how pricing decisions may be perceived by individuals, families, and care partners.
  • Proven ability to balance margin optimization with market competitiveness and market perception, using data to inform pricing decisions and ensuring pricing is defensible, transparent, and aligned with brand trust.
  • Experience developing and maintaining pricing frameworks or models that account for: • Product mix and accessories • Market and regional differences • Customer segments (e.g. retail / cash pay vs institutional or referral-driven environments) • Customer impact and communication needs
  • Ability to analyze sales, volume, and margin data to assess pricing performance and recommend adjustments.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, procurement, and finance to ensure pricing is understood, applied consistently, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex pricing analysis into clear, defensible recommendations for leadership and front-line teams.

Responsibilities

  • Process development and on-going management of pricelists for various client groups and product categories.
  • Implement pricing structures relative to cost of goods sold and landed cost inputs, customer and regional context.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess pricing impacts.
  • Analysis of product line offerings and vendor mix optimizing value of choices for our clients.
  • Be the procedural expert for setting prices across systems and regions.
  • Partner with internal teams to review and develop customer pricing models and processes.
  • Development and maintenance of pricing databases and tools ensuring client price lists and discount models are accurately and efficiently maintained.
