About The Position

The Senior Pricing Analyst supports day-to-day pricing execution for the business. This role works closely with Product and Sales to analyze pricing requests, prepare price proposals, and help ensure pricing decisions support sales volume and margin goals. The Senior Pricing Analyst maintains price lists, discounts, and customer-specific terms in company systems and helps resolve pricing questions from internal teams. The role works cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Line Management to gather inputs, validate data, and carry out approved pricing actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field(s)
  • 6+ years of experience in retail, analysis, and/or pricing preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong work ethic complemented with a positive, can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL, Domo, Oracle and database reporting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform uploads and adjustments to seasonal account discounts
  • Maintain and update seasonal pricelists for customers including negotiated adjustments
  • Review EDI and manual orders for which pricing and related discounts are not in agreement with system settings to facilitate needed changes to order or system.
  • Quantify margin impact of account and/or closeout discounts orders and scenarios
  • Support the Pricing Manager to: Collaborate with pricing, sales, and merchandising leadership to understand business issues, develop data, and translate into appropriate pricing strategies
  • Develop analytical presentations and communicate them to merchandising partners
  • Create relevant category analytical tools, reports, and/or dashboards that encompass pricing data in connection with consumer, customer, and competitor insights
  • Manage, analyze, and recommend price changes across wide product offering
  • Maintain and contribute to accurate foundational pricing data elements
  • Improve accuracy of forecast of financial impact of proposed price changes
  • Develop ad-hoc pricing analyses and recommendations as needed
  • Navigate ambiguity to get to recommendations, solutions and results
  • Other duties as assigned
