Senior Power Platform Developer
About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Power Platform Developer to provide advanced technical solutions and strategic support for the DoW CIO PNT Directorate. The role focuses on process optimization, scalable knowledge management, and organizational efficiency through Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, and SharePoint solutions. The developer will design and maintain custom workflows, applications, and enterprise process automation, lead full-stack development efforts, configure systems architecture, and support integrations and tailored functionality. The position also includes process optimization, role-based access controls, environment security, data loss prevention policies, IT service delivery enhancements, end-user support, troubleshooting, training documentation, and business intelligence dashboards. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to modernize processes and support digital transformation. The position is based at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and is full-time on-site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of experience, master's degree and at least 7 years of experience, or PhD/JD and at least 4 years of experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; TS/SCI clearance is required to maintain employment.
- U.S. citizenship.
- At least 2 years of specialized experience in cloud application architecture, business process automation, data architecture, or data modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of Dataverse, SQL, Power FX, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and DAX.
- Proven expertise in Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, SSIS, Power BI, Tableau, and InfoPath.
- Exceptional skills in process automation, knowledge management, and delivering integrated IT solutions across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Azure.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve business processes, optimize performance, and deliver scalable IT solutions.
- Ability to support the role full-time on-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

- Experience with Bootstrap and Python.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the Department of Defense or other government agencies.

Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain advanced knowledge management and process automation solutions using SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and related technologies.
- Build and maintain custom formulas and complex workflows using Power FX, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Architect, develop, and implement enterprise-grade SharePoint sites, workflows, and solutions aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Develop end-to-end Power Platform solutions for high-volume, real-time processing scenarios.
- Provide architecture design, system configuration, development, and functional support for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 projects.
- Evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend short- and long-term process automation strategies.
- Apply process improvement methodologies to optimize internal processes and improve IT service delivery within OUSW(R&E).
- Integrate SharePoint, Power Platform, and existing technologies to improve scalability and organizational efficiency.
- Use Power BI to create data visualizations that support informed decision-making.
- Migrate legacy data management tools to Dataverse to support large data volumes.
- Provide subject-matter-expert technical support in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform environments; identify and resolve issues.
- Use Power FX, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and DAX to develop solutions.
- Maintain existing solutions, troubleshoot defects, and create training documentation for end users.
- Facilitate training sessions and collaborative workshops to support adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute process modernization initiatives aligned with agency objectives.
- Administer and maintain knowledge management solutions, ensuring scalability and continuous improvement.
- Implement role-based access controls, environment security, and data loss prevention policies.
