About The Position

The work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customers. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse. You will translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure, and reusable Power Platform solutions. You will also design and implement automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate, develop and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, and security models, and integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, and other enterprise data sources. Additionally, you will develop and deploy advanced Power Platform components using JavaScript, C#, Power Platform plug-ins, Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls, and custom APIs, as applicable. You will configure and implement role-based security for Power Platform applications and Dataverse, support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solutions, environment variables, connection references, and deployments across development, test, and production environments, and support Power Platform pipelines and other automated deployment processes. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power Pages sites, and Dataverse solutions, perform unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployments, develop technical documentation and support solution knowledge transfer, collaborate with business analysts, administrators, architects, security teams, and stakeholders throughout the solution development lifecycle, present technical concepts and solution designs to both technical and non-technical audiences, and provide technical guidance and knowledge support to end users and junior staff.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required
  • 6+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications using Microsoft Power Platform
  • Hands-on experience developing solutions using Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps
  • Strong proficiency with Power Automate for workflow and business process automation
  • Experience developing and configuring Power Pages and Dataverse solutions
  • Experience with Power Platform development and administration tools
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, and other enterprise data sources
  • Experience developing custom components using JavaScript, C#, Power Platform plug-ins, PCF controls, and custom APIs
  • Experience implementing role-based security within Power Apps and Dataverse
  • Experience with Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solutions, environment variables, connection references, and deployment across development, test, and production environments
  • Familiarity with Power Platform pipelines and automated deployment practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power Pages, Dataverse solutions, and integrations
  • Understanding of Power Platform security, connectors, authentication, and integration patterns
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Online and its integration with Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology and working within an Agile development team
  • Ability to translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, secure, and reusable technical solutions
  • Ability to communicate and present technical concepts to individuals with diverse technical backgrounds and job responsibilities
