About The Position

ADVI Health is seeking a Senior Policy Consultant to join their Policy Consulting Team. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, curating, and presenting on federal and state issues impacting clients' business imperatives, particularly reforms related to drug pricing, coverage, reimbursement, and benefit design across public and private payers. The team has deep expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange, and employer plan policies, as well as commercial payer activities. The Senior Policy Consultant will conduct quantitative and qualitative policy analyses, manage projects, support client engagements, translate analytical results into actionable insights, and mentor junior team members. This is a billable utilization role with moderate to high independence, potentially leading projects and making day-to-day decisions. While this role does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, it involves mentoring Senior Associates and Associates.

Requirements

Advanced degree preferred (MPH, MS, MBA, PharmD, PhD) in health policy, public policy, health economics, healthcare management, public health, public administration, business administration, or a relevant discipline
7+ years of relevant professional experience with a preferred background in consulting.
Experience modeling the effects of legislation and regulations affecting pharmaceutical manufacturers
Recent and relevant experience in legislative, regulatory, and/or government policy environments, including hands-on work with healthcare policy analysis, monitoring, or stakeholder engagement.
Excel-based quantitative modeling skills required

Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative and qualitative policy analyses (e.g., coverage, reimbursement, regulatory, and legislative research) to support client projects and internal insights.
Manage assigned projects by developing workplans, tracking timelines, coordinating resources, and supporting budget management to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Support client engagements by preparing analyses, materials, and presentations, and participating in client meetings to discuss findings and implications.
Translate analytical results into clear summaries and actionable insights, while coaching Associates and Senior Associates and contributing to overall quality standards.
Mentor and guide Policy Consultants to build capacity for team initiatives.
