About The Position

True Anomaly is hiring a Senior Systems Admin/Architect to maintain, support, and evolve its enterprise Siemens Teamcenter PLM system and integrations across product development and manufacturing. The role helps keep the PLM ecosystem scalable, secure, and effective across workflows involving ECAD, mechanical CAD, ERP, manufacturing operations, AI-assisted engineering tools, and developer platforms as part of the Digital Thread. This is a hands-on role combining Teamcenter administration and architecture, custom ITK development, cross-system integration support, and production delivery. The architect makes system and integration decisions, merges environments, upgrades systems, writes production code, designs integrations, deploys templates, and works with engineering, manufacturing, IT, operations, cybersecurity, vendors, and technology partners. The position also provides technical leadership and mentorship while improving the simplicity and developer experience of the wider ecosystem. Successful candidates will be located near Denver, Colorado, or Long Beach, California. The position remains open until filled. Applicants must meet the stated U.S. Government space technology export-control eligibility requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years designing, developing, and supporting enterprise PLM or Teamcenter solutions in complex engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or high-tech environments.
  • Strong hands-on Teamcenter ITK development, including server-side customization, workflow handlers, utilities, queries, product structure logic, and integrations.
  • Expert-level Teamcenter administration and architecture, including SSO implementation, BMIDE, data modeling, workflows, security, configurations, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Teamcenter Admin and Architect workspaces and the ability to independently diagnose platform and customization issues.
  • Proven experience designing cross-functional integrations connecting PLM with ERP, manufacturing operations, ECAD, or other enterprise systems.
  • Strong integration architecture experience, including APIs, middleware, SOA, REST, web services, event-driven patterns, authentication, and error handling.
  • CAD/PLM integration experience with NX and ECAD/PLM integration experience with Altium or comparable tools.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python; proficiency with SQL, XML, JSON, version control, testing, CI/CD, and production support.
  • Deep understanding of EBOM/MBOM, product structures, item/revision management, datasets, configurations, effectivity, and engineering change management (ECR, ECO, ECN).
  • Cross-functional systems understanding of how PLM, ERP, CAD, ECAD, manufacturing, and operations systems interact across the product development lifecycle.
  • Decisive, pragmatic, delivery-oriented approach; comfort with ambiguity; and strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Multidisciplinary Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience is accepted for candidates with a proven PLM architecture and delivery record.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under applicable space technology export regulations, including ITAR.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with E3 (Epsilon3), NetSuite ERP, Altium, Siemens NX, Active Integration Gateway (AIG), or EDA Gateway.
  • Experience with Siemens AI products, AI-assisted engineering or PLM use cases, MCP server integration, or intelligent automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, containers, API management, message queues, observability platforms, or modern integration architectures.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, space, or regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Siemens Teamcenter certification, Technical Practitioner training, Genesis, Inceptor, or formal Teamcenter training.
  • Experience with Agile, configuration management, developer platforms, or enterprise software deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Own Teamcenter architecture, including deployment, security, data model, modules, environments, configuration, upgrade strategy, templates, and lifecycle governance.
  • Lead hands-on Teamcenter ITK development, including server-side utilities, workflow handlers, BOM logic, queries, batch processes, and integrations.
  • Design and implement Teamcenter customizations, including BMIDE extensions, workflows, business rules, forms, preferences, services, SOA/REST APIs, and Active Workspace extensions.
  • Develop and maintain Teamcenter data models, object types, attributes, relations, configurations, and lifecycle processes to support cross-functional product development.
  • Support, test, and implement integrations between Teamcenter and E3 (Epsilon3), NetSuite, Altium, NX, AI-assisted engineering tools, and internal developer platforms.
  • Develop and maintain CAD/ECAD-to-PLM processes, emphasizing product structures, metadata synchronization, change management, and configuration control.
  • Define integration data mappings, authentication strategies, error handling, reconciliation processes, monitoring, and operational support models.
  • Explore and implement AI-assisted workflows, such as intelligent part search, automated classification, generative design, design recommendations, anomaly detection, and natural-language interfaces to PLM data.
  • Make architectural decisions under ambiguity, document tradeoffs, set development standards, and ensure production-quality code.
  • Lead production support, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions using source control, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders, systems integrators, vendors, and external technology partners to clarify needs, evaluate tools, and deliver solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, administrators, and solution architects, and identify opportunities to simplify the ecosystem and improve developer experience.

Benefits

  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, with HSA/HRA options.
  • Flexible Time Off for exempt employees or accrued PTO of up to 25 days for non-exempt employees.
