About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own software architecture and development for Oracle's GenAI Agent Platform. The role calls for a strong coder and distributed-systems generalist who can work across the stack and design distributed-system interactions. You will contribute to platform development, software design and testing, architecture, customer issue resolution, security and coding standards, and system maintenance. You will also provide technical leadership, collaborate across teams, and independently manage work and project deliverables. Experience with Java, spec-driven development, MCP tools, agent harnesses, and agent runtimes is preferred; familiarity with agent memory systems is a plus. You will design and optimize software, review code, troubleshoot issues, implement and maintain APIs, and contribute to system reliability, security, and customer satisfaction. A project lead role and/or supervision of lower-level personnel may be part of the work. A bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent relevant experience, is required, along with four years of software engineering or related experience. The stated U.S. hiring range is $87,800 to $209,500 per annum. The role may be eligible for a bonus and equity.
