  • 2+ years previous paid social media experience.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts.
  • Experience buying ads on Facebook and Instagram is crucial, additional platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency working within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to advanced targeting/retargeting tactics in social.
  • Comfort owning and managing budget/investment levels in social media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proposals for paid social media campaigns across active client roster.
  • Create and present media-specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives and strategies decks.
  • Analyze proposals and conduct partner negotiations.
  • Maintain vendor meeting communication, update internal status documents, and maintain team deliverables calendars.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge in all internal buying and reporting tools, including platform interfaces and native tools.
  • Support in measurement planning and pixel generation and third-party ad tracking needs.
  • Traffic plan assets such as creative and required tracking tags.
  • Create campaign post-launch information such as screenshots, links, and placement information.
  • Generate insertion orders within internal systems tools and ensure accuracy of plan details and confirmation of delivery.
  • Responsible for the setup of client Paid Social campaigns.
  • Anticipate and field requests and questions from internal teams and/or clients with minimal oversight.
  • Maintain active communication with internal client roster teams to manage timelines and cross-collaborative meetings.
  • Partner and build relationships with other internal teams (e.g., Analytics, Digital).
  • Participate in larger team projects with direct oversight from Supervisor.
  • Contribute to junior team member(s) development (training Assistant Planners and Planners).
  • Participate in the interview process for Assistant/Planner roles.
  • Monitor pacing and optimizations of active social campaigns across client roster daily.
  • Generate high-level performance insights and recommendations relative to active client campaigns.
  • Manage client roster reporting on campaign performance and proactively communicate any issues.
  • Engage in new & emerging opportunities and applications in paid social media environments.
  • Take ownership of completing and monitoring internal team and client-facing financial tracking documents.
  • Manage and execute Quality Assurance (QA) of tracking functionality and creative units.
  • Provide education on best practices, social media principles, and the industry at large.
  • Build campaigns and posts via Paid Social platforms and third-party buying tools with oversight and direction from manager.
  • Attend agency learning sessions and vendor meetings.
  • Participate in internal learning and development opportunities (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School).
