About The Position

StrawberryFrog is seeking a Senior Director, Paid Social & Paid Search, a senior paid media leader who is an expert in the platforms and utilizes AI to enhance their capabilities. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on leading by example, mentoring junior team members, and driving performance and originality through collaboration with creative, strategy, and analytics teams. The ideal candidate is a strategist, operator, and builder who views paid media as a creative discipline where data, audience, and message converge.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading paid social and paid search across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and emerging platforms.
  • Hands-on platform fluency; ability to build, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns independently.
  • A proven track record of using AI to optimize buying, automate workflows, and scale performance.
  • Deep command of campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, creative testing, and measurement.
  • Proven success on B2C and B2B accounts.
  • Mastery of attribution, MMM, incrementality, tagging, pixels, and conversion tracking.
  • Comfortable serving as a senior client-facing voice on media.
  • Fluency with platform APIs, dashboards, and modern measurement stacks, particularly GA4.
  • Agency experience is required.

  • Experience in retail, banking, and healthcare sectors is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive paid social and paid search across accounts.
  • Set the standard for paid media work and lead senior client relationships.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Partner with the Head of Media on attribution, measurement, and reporting.
  • Actively engage in platform work, including building, QA, optimization, and troubleshooting campaigns.
  • Architect AI-driven workflows across planning, build, optimization, and reporting.
  • Identify and deploy relevant AI tools such as Pencil, Mutiny, Custom GPTs, and Claude-powered automations.
  • Develop prompt libraries, automation playbooks, and scalable SOPs.
  • Provide a strong point of view on AI adoption in paid media, including what to adopt, what to skip, and where the competitive edge lies.
  • Manage full-funnel, full-platform campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and emerging channels for both B2C and B2B clients in sectors like retail, banking, and healthcare.
  • Oversee campaign objectives including app downloads, performance, and brand awareness, focusing on KPIs such as CPI, LTV, and ROAS.
  • Ensure airtight tracking, tagging, pixels, SDKs, and attribution.
