About The Position

The Sr. People Ops Specialist ensures the seamless execution of People Operations and provides advanced support to employees throughout their lifecycle at Docebo. This role is a critical operator across hire-to-retire processes, responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant, and employee-centered support while helping modernize how People Operations work gets done. In addition to managing complex lifecycle activity, this role identifies opportunities to simplify workflows, improve service delivery, strengthen data quality, and support thoughtful adoption of automation, AI, and better system-enabled processes across the function. Reporting into People Operations leadership, the Sr. People Ops Specialist partners closely with HRBPs, People Technology, Payroll, Total Rewards, Finance, IT, and external providers to ensure critical processes run smoothly, employee data is reliable, and the employee experience continues to improve as the company scales. This is an ideal role for someone who combines operational rigor with curiosity and systems thinking — someone who can execute with precision, solve problems quickly, and contribute meaningfully to building the next generation of HR Operations at Docebo.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll, benefits, People Operations, or a related field, with strong knowledge of employee lifecycle operations and country-specific employment practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Dayforce or similar systems, along with strong general systems capability and comfort working across operational tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and complex operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear customer-service mindset.
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements within HR or People Operations.
  • Experience working across regions and collaborating with distributed or international stakeholders is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation, service management, or AI-enabled tools in an HR context is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute complex employee lifecycle processes, including pre-boarding, onboarding, employee changes, internal transfers, leaves, terminations, and offboarding, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-coordinated execution.
  • Maintain high standards of employee data integrity in Dayforce and related systems, ensuring records are accurate, compliant, auditable, and aligned with operational standards.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for complex employee and stakeholder questions, resolving issues with strong judgment, empathy, responsiveness, and excellent service orientation.
  • Support and continuously improve core People Operations programs and processes in accordance with company policy, regulatory requirements, and regional practices.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help redesign workflows to reduce manual effort, eliminate friction, improve consistency, and create better employee and manager experiences.
  • Partner with People Technology and HRIS stakeholders on the implementation, optimization, testing, and rollout of Dayforce and other People systems, including opportunities to improve self-service, workflow automation, documentation, and case handling.
  • Contribute to the modernization of HR Operations by helping embed practical automation and AI-enabled capabilities into lifecycle work, service delivery, and knowledge flows, with appropriate attention to controls, accuracy, privacy, and employee experience.
  • Administer employee programs and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors or providers, including benefits, retirement-related processes, leave administration, documentation, and other operational programs as needed.
  • Perform audits, reviews, and quality checks across People Operations processes and data to identify issues, resolve root causes, and prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare, maintain, and improve employee-facing and internal documentation such as contracts, forms, compliance materials, playbooks, and process guidance so information is current, clear, and easy to use.
  • Provide support across regions and act as a reliable operational partner during peak periods, changes, and cross-functional initiatives that affect People Operations.
