About The Position

Intel's Design Technology Platform organization is seeking a Senior PDK Physical Verification Engineer to develop and deploy advanced density-fill methodologies and Process Design Kit (PDK) solutions. The role works across process technology, physical verification, and design automation to address manufacturability challenges, improve design productivity, and support Intel's advanced technology nodes and product designs. The engineer will develop and validate density-fill solutions and physical verification methodologies, automate engineering workflows, and create validation frameworks and qualification approaches for tool and rule-deck releases. The role collaborates with process integration teams, design-rule owners, product design engineers, customers, and external EDA vendors. It also contributes technical documentation, training, best practices, and strategic design-enablement initiatives. The position is based at an Intel site in the United States and is eligible for a hybrid work model, with time split between the assigned site and off-site work. The primary location is Hillsboro, Oregon; additional locations are Phoenix, Arizona; Santa Clara, California; and Austin, Texas. This is an experienced-hire role on Shift 1.
