About The Position

Responsible for the efficient and timely movement of patients, specimens, supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital using appropriate transportation methods and ancillary equipment. Ensures accurate patient identification and the patient’s safety and well-being. Uses patient-lifting devices properly and can direct others in their use. Collaborates in care-coordination efforts, including discharges, imaging turnaround functions, and morgue transports. Accurately uses Ticket to Ride as a hand-off mechanism. The role is with Providence Swedish at Swedish Cherry Hill, in a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

Requirements

Upon hire, National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Three months of previous patient experience.
Three months of experience in Epic function.
