Senior Pastor - New Life Alliance Church

U.S. Church Ministries•Aitkin, MN

About The Position

New Life Alliance Church in Aitkin, Minnesota, is seeking a Senior Pastor to shape vision, build momentum, and lead the congregation into a new ministry season. The church’s mission is to help each person take their next step of faith in Christ. The pastor will shepherd and develop an energized, generous congregation and work with church leadership to discern how to proceed with a planned building project. Land has been purchased and prepared, and significant funds are available for the project. The pastor will also have the opportunity to call a youth or family pastor and help shape ministry for children, youth, and families. New Life is a Christian and Missionary Alliance congregation of approximately 110 people. It offers services at 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. The morning service combines traditional hymns with gentle contemporary music, while the evening service features a more relaxed, modern worship style. Attenders value preaching that is grounded in the biblical text, relevant, and applicable. The church seeks a relationally warm and approachable pastor who cares authentically for people, enjoys spending time with them, and takes the time to know them personally and spiritually. The pastor will communicate Scripture clearly, relevantly, and convincingly, while teaching with authenticity and transparency. The role calls for servant-hearted leadership, integrity, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative spirit. The pastor will listen, build trust, and work alongside the Leadership Team and Elders to develop a shared vision, rather than arriving with a predetermined agenda. The pastor will equip others, develop leaders, mobilize volunteers, and help people discover and use their spiritual gifts for meaningful Kingdom impact. The position requires licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance. Applicants are asked to submit an application including their testimony, resume, and relevant background information. Candidates reviewed by the district office may be contacted by the hiring manager regarding next steps. Applicants are asked not to contact the church directly.
