About The Position

Assort Health is seeking a Senior Partnerships Lead to build and own the company's partnership strategy with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) systems. This role is crucial for market penetration and involves identifying strategic integration opportunities, navigating partnership processes, negotiating commercial agreements, and creating revenue and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will act as the business-side expert on the EHR/PM landscape, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, such as negotiating agreements and coordinating API integrations. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with significant leadership visibility.

Requirements

  • Deep EHR/PM Ecosystem Experience: Strong familiarity with the EHR and Practice Management landscape.
  • Experience working directly with major EHR/PM organizations, partner programs, and developer ecosystems.
  • Proven experience navigating healthcare integration environments, including APIs, marketplaces, and technical partnership workflows.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Revenue Generation: 6-10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships within healthcare or digital health.
  • Demonstrated track record negotiating and managing complex strategic partnerships with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience generating measurable business impact including pipeline creation, strategic distribution, co-selling, or revenue growth.
  • Relationship Management & Executive Presence: Exceptional relationship-builder with high EQ and strong listening skills; able to build trust and credibility over long partnership cycles.
  • Comfortable operating with both executive leadership teams and day-to-day partner managers.
  • Strong communicator who can tailor messaging effectively across technical, business, and executive audiences.
  • Operator Mentality & Ownership: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and operates with urgency, ownership, and a bias toward action.
  • Metrics-oriented and comfortable owning goals tied to integrations, partner-sourced opportunities, and revenue impact.
  • Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and the evolving role EHRs/PMs play in the ecosystem.
  • Naturally curious, intellectually honest, and thoughtful about incentives, partnership structures, and long-term ecosystem strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own relationships with EHR/PM partners, including marketplace relationships, API/integration access, commercial agreements, referral partnerships, and co-selling opportunities.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue strategic EHR/PM partners aligned with the company's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and growth strategy.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with EHR/PM leaders, partner teams, and developer ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Generate pipeline and opportunities, carrying a quota focused on pipeline creation and sales-qualified opportunities.
  • Source and qualify deals, collaborating with the sales team to drive them to close.
  • Quarterback all EHR engagements across customer-facing and internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.
  • Inform GTM strategy and partnership models, owning EHR-specific initiatives.
  • Serve as the internal business subject matter expert (SME) on the EHR/PM landscape, including market dynamics, incentives, competitive positioning, and ecosystem trends.
  • Create repeatable systems, processes, and playbooks for engaging and scaling EHR partnerships.
  • Represent Assort externally with credibility and executive presence at partner meetings, conferences, and strategic conversations.
