About The Position

Anthropic is hiring a Senior Partner Systems Analyst for its Partner Experience team, which is building an AI-native operating model across partner-facing systems including Salesforce, PEM, the partner portal, enablement and certification platforms, and their integrations. The role connects business stakeholders with the systems and AI teams responsible for architecture, development, and agentic workflows. The analyst leads discovery, documents requirements, owns user acceptance testing (UAT), publishes release notes, and handles hands-on Salesforce administration to maintain the platform in production. The role uses Claude regularly to support requirements writing, test creation, release notes, and documentation, and identifies recurring requests that could be automated. The analyst owns the processes for changing the partner systems stack, including request intake, discovery, prioritization, UAT, and release. They serve as a first point of contact for partner-system needs, translate business problems into build-ready requirements, coordinate delivery with the GTM Systems team, AI Operations Engineer, systems lead, or implementation partners, and ensure changes have agreed requirements, UAT sign-off, and release notes before shipping. For smaller changes, the analyst makes Salesforce configuration updates directly. The position works day to day with the Partner Business Systems Lead, the GTM Systems team, and the AI Operations Engineer, as well as partner managers and other internal teams who rely on these systems. Anthropic expects staff to work from one of its offices at least 25% of the time under its current location-based hybrid policy. The minimum education is a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience, in a field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Requirements

  • Experience running discovery and requirements sessions with business stakeholders and translating findings into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • A track record of working with a systems or engineering team through a build, from requirements handoff through release.
  • Experience planning and conducting UAT with business users, writing test cases from acceptance criteria, tracking defects to closure, securing sign-off before release, and smoke testing changes.
  • Strong written communication skills, including writing build-ready requirements, user-focused release notes, and useful documentation.
  • Day-to-day use of LLM tools such as Claude, with examples of how they improved requirements gathering, testing, or documentation.
  • A track record of owning a production Salesforce org or business systems stack, including its intake, triage, and release processes.
  • Strong Salesforce administration skills, including declarative configuration, flows, validation rules, the security and sharing model, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of integrations, including record synchronization through APIs or middleware, interpreting error logs, and tracing data issues to their source.
  • A structured approach to incidents that distinguishes symptoms from root causes and communicates clearly during disruptions.
  • Sound prioritization judgment and the ability to explain when work should be declined or deferred.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience; the relevant field may be demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years as a business systems analyst, Salesforce administrator, or in a similar role owning discovery, requirements, and UAT for business systems, ideally supporting partner, sales, or customer success organizations.
  • Experience working in a sprint-based delivery model with a shared backlog and regular sprint reviews.
  • Experience with partner relationship management platforms, partner portals, or channel programs such as deal registration, certifications, or MDF.
  • Salesforce release management experience, including sandboxes, change sets or DevOps tooling, and deployment checklists.
  • SQL or scripting skills for data investigation and cleanup.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Business Analyst certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery for new requests by meeting with partner managers, partner operations, and other stakeholders to understand problems, map current processes, and size proposed changes.
  • Document requirements for bug fixes, improvements, enhancements, and new builds, including user stories, process flows, field and access definitions, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.
  • Work with the GTM Systems team and AI Operations Engineer through delivery, including requirements handoff, answering build questions, reviewing work against acceptance criteria, and coordinating releases.
  • Own UAT for every change: write test plans and cases, coordinate partner-team testers, track and retest defects, collect sign-off, and smoke test in production after releases.
  • Write and publish release notes for every release, explaining what changed, who is affected, and what users need to do differently.
  • Prioritize the backlog with stakeholders based on partner impact, risk, and effort, and maintain a clear view of upcoming work and its rationale.
  • Serve as the point of contact for bugs, enhancement requests, and system questions across Salesforce, PEM, and the partner portal, and own the intake queue end to end.
  • Triage production incidents by reproducing issues, assessing impact and severity, resolving or routing them, and keeping affected teams updated through resolution.
  • Administer Salesforce for the partner organization, including objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, permission sets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Understand data movement between Salesforce and PEM, monitor integration health, and diagnose sync failures, mapping errors, and access issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, a data dictionary, integration maps, and administrator runbooks.
  • Identify recurring administrative and support requests as automation candidates and partner with the AI Operations Engineer to reduce manual work.
