About The Position

Engine is hiring a Senior Partner Growth Manager to own the lifecycle and growth of a portfolio of important channel partnerships across associations, fintech and corporate spending platforms, marketplaces, and other distribution partners. The role focuses on enabling partners to position and distribute Engine’s travel product and growing revenue share while protecting traveler experience and commercial performance. It combines partner acquisition handoffs with strategic post-sale relationship management and channel development. The Senior Partner Growth Manager will take ownership of active relationships with minimal ramp time, drive growth through performance analysis and commercial planning, and serve as the voice of partners in internal product and roadmap discussions. The role also contributes to scalable channel infrastructure, including playbooks, onboarding frameworks, tier frameworks, health scoring, incentive inputs, and reporting. It reports to the VP of Partner Growth and requires approximately 20% travel for partner QBRs, industry events, and periodic on-sites.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in partner growth, partner success, strategic account management, or channel partnerships; experience in travel tech, fintech, SaaS, or a distribution-heavy business is ideal.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high-value B2B relationships with measurable GBV or revenue outcomes.
  • Commercial acumen and comfort with pricing negotiations, contract terms, and tier-based incentive structures.
  • Strong data orientation, with the ability to use metrics to inform decisions and build analyses in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience translating partner needs into internal product or engineering requests and advocating in cross-functional forums.
  • Ability to manage a diverse partner portfolio, prioritize effectively, and use systems to ensure follow-through.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and structuring work without constant direction.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex partner situations into clear executive updates.
  • Ability to build trust with external partners, communicate commercial matters fluently, and engage credibly on technical topics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing partners across multiple industries or partner types, such as associations, fintech or corporate card providers, marketplaces, and distribution platforms.
  • Experience running co-marketing or partner enablement programs, such as webinars, member communications, sales-team training, or embedded placements, that measurably increased partner-sourced volume.
  • Hands-on experience structuring, negotiating, and renewing partner commercial contracts with revenue-share terms, exclusivity, SLAs, and amendments, and working with Legal and Finance to finalize agreements.
  • Experience building partnership playbooks, onboarding frameworks, or health-scoring models; familiarity with partner ecosystem tools such as Crossbeam.
  • Exposure to compensation plan design or partner incentive structures, including SPIFs, tier bonuses, and go-live milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end growth and performance for a portfolio of channel partners across industries, partner models, and scales.
  • Drive gross booking value (GBV) growth through commercial reviews, optimization initiatives, and joint go-to-market planning.
  • Monitor partner health, production metrics, rate quality, and engagement; identify risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Maintain a regular cadence of meaningful partner touchpoints, ensuring no partner goes more than 60 days without one.
  • Lead QBRs and executive business reviews for strategic partners and structured health check-ins for the broader portfolio.
  • Manage commercial and contractual relationship matters, including pricing discussions, tier reviews, and renewal negotiations.
  • Serve as the first line of escalation for partner issues and coordinate with supply, product, and engineering to resolve them.
  • Move partners through tier progression by helping them achieve milestones toward higher tiers.
  • Build multi-threaded partner relationships across commercial, product, marketing, and operations contacts.
  • Develop institutional knowledge of partner business models, product roadmaps, and internal champions.
  • Engage at contract signature to understand partner goals, stakeholders, and success measures, and manage the transition from Partner Acquisition to ongoing partner growth.
  • Build and maintain channel-specific playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and partner enablement materials.
  • Represent the live partner base in product and roadmap discussions and translate partner needs into structured feature requests.
  • Partner with the VP of Partner Growth on channel strategy and partner prioritization.
  • Identify expansion opportunities across partner use cases, geographies, user segments, and product lines.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to align channel activity with co-sell motions and joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Contribute to scalable channel infrastructure, including tier frameworks, health scoring, compensation model inputs, and reporting tools.
