About The Position

We are hiring a senior paid media strategist to own performance marketing for home services businesses such as HVAC companies, plumbers, electricians, pest control companies, roofers, and similar service-based businesses. The role involves owning paid media strategy and performance across channels such as Google, Meta, YouTube, streaming/CTV, landing pages, tracking, and funnel analytics. The primary goal is to generate qualified leads that convert into booked jobs and revenue, targeting a cost-to-revenue ratio typically around 10%, with a maximum of 20% depending on the account, measured against qualified booked or closed revenue whenever tracking allows.

Requirements

  • Experience with service-based business lead generation is required.
  • Understanding the difference between leads, booked jobs, and revenue.
  • Knowledge of why PPC campaigns often fail in service industries.
  • Ability to audit an account and identify immediate changes needed.
  • Ability to work with full autonomy.
  • Ability to explain performance, reasons, and next steps.
  • Ability to clearly state needs, requirements, and expectations when cross-collaborating on projects owned by PPC.

Responsibilities

  • Own performance marketing for home services businesses.
  • Develop and execute paid media strategy across Google, Meta, YouTube, streaming/CTV, landing pages, tracking, and funnel analytics.
  • Generate qualified leads that turn into booked jobs and revenue.
  • Diagnose performance issues and implement solutions.
  • Scale successful strategies and campaigns.
  • Think beyond the ad account to include tracking, landing pages, funnels, lead quality, and sales follow-up.
  • Work with full autonomy.
  • Communicate performance, reasons for changes, and next steps clearly.
  • State needs, requirements, and expectations when collaborating on PPC-owned projects.
