About The Position

Tried & True Media is a performance marketing agency specializing in customer acquisition for e-commerce brands in the health and wellness space. With a data-driven approach across media buying, creative testing, funnel development, and performance optimization, TNT has generated over a billion dollars in sales for our customers. We move fast, test constantly, and focus on one core outcome: helping our clients scale profitably. Tried & True Media is looking for a Senior Paid Media Buyer / Traffic Manager to help manage, optimize, test, and scale paid media campaigns across our direct response e-commerce accounts. This is a highly hands-on, executional role for someone who is excellent inside ad platforms and can make sound campaign decisions based on performance data. You will partner closely with Performance Managers, who lead account strategy, client communication, and broader performance direction. Your role is to own the day-to-day media buying execution, including campaign launches, optimizations, budget and bid adjustments, testing, scaling, QA, troubleshooting, and performance analysis. Your primary objective is to manage paid media campaigns with precision, speed, and discipline so accounts can scale profitably. The right person is a disciplined direct response media buyer who understands how to evaluate campaigns against funnel performance and profitability targets. This role requires speed, precision, strong analytical judgment, clean execution, and proactive internal communication. You will not be expected to own the client relationship. You will be expected to be a strong performance partner who can make high-quality campaign decisions and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Hands-On Paid Media Buying Experience
  • Deep hands-on experience managing campaigns inside Meta and Google, ideally with $1M+ per month in paid media spend.
  • Strong Campaign Optimization Skills
  • You understand budget scaling, bid strategy, campaign structure, audience testing, creative testing, conversion optimization, learning phases, and platform delivery.
  • Strong Analytical Judgment
  • You can identify patterns, understand performance movement, and make sound decisions without needing to be told every move to make.
  • Platform Execution Discipline
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and careful with campaign setup.
  • Direct Response Performance Mindset
  • You understand key metrics, spend pacing, funnel performance, and profitability guardrails. You know that scaling is only valuable when it is profitable or aligned with the account’s agreed testing goals.
  • Testing and Scaling Experience
  • You have experience launching and managing tests across audiences, creatives, placements, bid strategies, campaign structures, and funnel paths.
  • You understand how to evaluate whether a test should be scaled, iterated, paused, or given more time.
  • Technical Awareness
  • You understand the basics of tracking, pixels, CAPI, UTMs, click IDs, attribution windows, event quality, and conversion events. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be able to recognize when something may be wrong and escalate it clearly.
  • Creative Performance Awareness
  • You understand how creative impacts media performance.
  • Strong Internal Communication
  • You can communicate clearly with Performance Managers and internal teams. You know how to explain what you’re seeing, what you did, why you did it, what you recommend next, and where you need support or alignment.
  • Organized and Systems-Oriented
  • You keep clean notes, document meaningful optimizations, follow naming conventions, maintain visibility into tests, and help create clarity in fast-moving accounts.
