About The Position

Workday is seeking a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Senior HCM Functional Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday HCM solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience implementing or supporting HRIS systems, requirements capturing, configuration, data conversion, and testing. You should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and able to successfully partner with customers and your project team. This role involves mastering HCM Core and at least one other product in the HCM suite (Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Paradox, HiredScore, Talent Management, or Learning). Responsibilities include understanding client business requirements, configuring the Workday solution, demonstrating configurations through prototype systems, assisting clients in testing, helping convert legacy data, assisting the Integration team with integrations, understanding and using Workday’s Implementation Methodology, and mentoring other consultants.

Requirements

Prior experience leading Workday implementations is a MUST
A minimum of 3+ years implementing at least one of the following HCM solutions for Senior HCM Functional Consultant: HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning
A minimum of 7+ years implementing at least one of the following HCM solutions for Principal HCM Functional Consultant: HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, HiredScore, Paradox, Talent Management, or Learning
Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company required
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Nice To Haves

Proven project management experience
Functional experience - HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management and/or Learning
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously a plus
Workday HCM Certification a plus

Responsibilities

Understand client business requirements
Configure the Workday solution
Demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems
Assist the client in testing the Workday solution
Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday
Assist the Integration team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday’s proven solutions
Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants
