About The Position

The Oracle Cloud HCM Principal Consultant serves as a functional leader for Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, specializing in Core HR. This role is responsible for working directly with client stakeholders to define business requirements, lead solution design, and deliver Oracle Cloud configurations that support HR operations and administration. The Principal Consultant provides subject matter expertise across Core HR while collaborating with project leadership, technical teams, and architects to ensure successful project delivery. This role also supports client relationship management, functional leadership of project teams, and the adoption of Oracle HCM best practices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with client HR stakeholders.
Support executive alignment regarding project direction and escalations.
Manage and ensure timely issue identification and resolution.
Participate in projects as a Principal Consultant with primary responsibility for Core HR functional delivery.
Manage the day-to-day functional relationship and alignment with the customer.
Lead Core HR design workshops and discovery sessions.
Translate client business requirements into Oracle Cloud HCM configurations.
Work with the Solution Architect and project leadership to determine the best solution for the customer.
Configure and deliver solutions aligned with Oracle best practices and project standards.
Provide functional leadership and mentorship to consultants and analysts on the project team.
Understand Oracle Cloud Global Human Resources (Primary Focus) including Workforce Structures, Person and Employment Model, Employee and Manager Self-Service, Approval Workflows, Security and Data Roles, Reporting & Analytics, Journeys and Employee Experience, HR Helpdesk/Digital Assistant, UI/Design Studio & Auto-complete, and Supporting Functional Design for Integrations & Conversions with a strong degree of confidence and how they interact across modules and from a functional perspective enough to guide HR clients through these concepts.
May assist with training members of the staff.
May conduct interviews.
Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.
May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
