About The Position

The Senior Operations Transformation Manager is responsible for transforming operational strategy into operational execution. This role bridges the gap between mid-to-long-term operational strategies and short to mid-term actions that enable sustainable profitable growth at the enterprise level. This role is a key driver of global operational excellence leading improvements in cost, quality, delivery and safety. This role partners cross functionally with operational, business, product, and plant team members to define the technical needs and current state of Rehlko’s operations system so as to define how to improve, refine, and grow our operational capabilities. This role will be on the forefront of Rehlko’s enterprise level strategies leading initiatives that enable sustainable profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 15+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Industrialization/Continuous Improvement Engineering in an OEM of complex assembled product
  • 10+ years of defining and implementing capital equipment, new value stream layout, and facility expansion or construction
  • 5+ years of product transfers in a multi-location company
  • 5+ years or manufacturing process improvement or continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of leading project level manufacturing initiatives increasing capacity, capability or process optimization.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen, providing robust analysis ROI modeling, capital planning, margin analysis, and scenario modeling to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with, strong business acumen, at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with cross‑functional teams in operations, Engineering, and business functions so as to drive projects and programs forward with stakeholder and core team member buy-in and engagement
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Facility expansion and deployment: Leads current facility expansions through cross functional partnerships with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial teams to drive capacity increases. Partners with cross‑functional leaders and team members (Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial) to translate product and market needs into requirements and capabilities for greenfield facilities. Leads tactical development and deployment of new Greenfield facilities while maintaining timelines, budgets and mitigating risks. Engages on M&A initiatives aligning operational needs and capabilities in new business entities aligned to current company capabilities and process alignment. Uses data and analytics to recommend areas and options to increase and improve operational output.
  • Capital and value stream optimization: Drives existing plant footprint optimization to drive scale and efficiency collaboratively with plant team members. Leads new capital development, deployment, and standardization to increase capacity, increase productivity, or improve quality. Defines innovative world class technology, equipment, and tools that drive the company forward in terms of capabilities and capacity. Leads rationalization reviews on internal capital utilization and utilization. Engages at the plant level to facilitate productivity and efficiency efforts in current value streams. Leads with a continuous improvement mindset driving value stream and capital optimization. Build business cases for new manufacturing capabilities, including ROI modeling, risk assessments, and long‑term capacity planning.
  • Demand leveling and process rationalization: Leads initiatives to align internal manufacturing processes globally for consistency between all plants. Participates in load balancing initiatives to best utilize all global facilities to maximize absorption and facility utilization. Participates in DFM, design, and documentation initiatives to create a common globally manufacturable product to facilitate globalization of company product. Defines best practices for processes used by the company and benchmarks with external suppliers to quantify make versus buy. Partners with quality and supply chain to align company needs with world class partners and suppliers. Leads make versus buy analysis for NPD as an operational representative. Partners with all operational plant teams to create a common method of manufacturing processes.
  • Leadership & Cross‑Functional Influence: Engage with, and lead, cross functional teams supporting complex manufacturing initiatives in a matrixed organization. Serve as a tactical executor creating tangible work product through input and engagement across various business functions. Extract, analyze and present data to enable effective decision making across the enterprise. Ability to think, act, and engage objectively. Ability to facilitate cross functional virtual and in person meetings, driving engagement effectiveness resulting in decisions and actions as the output. Act with urgency, clarity and purpose driving defined projects, initiatives, AIP’s, Steerco’s, and priorities forward to secure committed timelines and deliverables.
