Requirements

  • Proven success with leading a large number of employees to achieve operational excellence
  • Successfully meet all customer demands (quality & delivery), with an extreme focus on meeting cost objectives (maximizing labor efficiency, reducing waste in the system).
  • Achieve flawless customer delivery
  • Achieve labor efficiency targets
  • Achieve scrap targets/ minimize waste
  • Manage two to three Operations Managers
  • Ultimately, all director labor (approx. 350+) will report under this position, with Production Supervisors and Ops Managers providing layers between the roles
  • Responsible for supervising the personnel on the business unit team to meet the productivity, quality, safety, cost, and shareholders goals.
  • Responsible for managing the engineering and assembly of new products and processes making improvements on existing products.
  • Responsible for communicating and interfacing with the manufacturing departments and processes within the business unit.
  • Oversees and ensuring the quality of the products and services within the Business Unit.
  • Responsible for the overseeing and ensuring that the raw materials coming into the business unit, in process material/product flow and the finished product coming out of the business unit.
