About The Position

This Senior Operations Analyst position will serve the Transplant Billing and Follow Up team. The role involves planning and managing large projects, coordinating resources for system, program, and process implementation within the Enterprise Revenue Cycle. It requires providing detailed project design documentation, project plans, and process flows for leadership. The analyst will guide and support project, implementation, and training teams, making design and process decisions. They will conduct complex business analysis for process, quality, and improvement projects across Mayo Clinic's practices and health system, demonstrating an understanding of operations, systems, regulations, clinical practice, and payers. The position also entails coordinating teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget, providing updates to senior leadership, and making key decisions. Analysis, design, and redesign of processes, workflow, and systems for quality, effectiveness, and efficiency are crucial, along with identifying resource impact and managing implementation. The role includes leading process improvement initiatives, understanding project management, and collaborating with IT staff on new business processes and system applications. Effective meeting facilitation, negotiation for issue resolution, and resource acquisition are expected. The analyst must make sound decisions on complex operational issues impacting the Enterprise Revenue Cycle or Mayo Clinic, collaborate with various departments, and resolve compliance, state, and federal issues with leadership. Direct supervision of staff may be required. The role involves working with external vendors and internal stakeholders as a subject matter expert, mentoring staff, and maintaining knowledge of the current healthcare environment. Presentation at conferences and user group meetings may be necessary. Accountability for maintaining a control environment to uphold Mayo's Standard of Ethics and minimize risks is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and manages large projects.
