About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret complex financial and operational data, identifying patterns that impact revenue flow.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and conveying findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data management and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and regulatory requirements.
  • Problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions that enhance revenue cycle efficiency and effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Revenue Cycle Management (e.g., Certified Revenue Cycle Professional - CRCP).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and revenue cycle management software.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators such as days in accounts receivable, denial rates, and collection effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with billing, coding, and clinical teams to resolve issues impacting revenue capture and reimbursement.
  • Recommend and implement process changes to improve efficiency, reduce denials, and accelerate cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements related to billing and reimbursement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as days in accounts receivable, denial rates, and collection effectiveness.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing revenue cycle systems and workflows.
