Revenue Cycle Analyst
About The Position
You've spent at least three years in medical billing working denials and chasing payers, and you know what a clean claim looks like. At Healthcare Revenue Group you'd own a set of client accounts with a small team in Overland Park, with full benefits and no nights or weekends. You'll work inside each client's own EHR and payer portals, so no two accounts look exactly alike. HRG has billed for medical practices since 1999, and a lot of our client relationships have run 10, 15 and 20 years. Every account is worked by our team here in the US, and we don't send work offshore. The accounts are yours to run, and the people around you have done this long enough to help when a payer gets stuck.
Requirements
- 3+ years of medical billing, including denials and payer follow-up
- Comfortable in Excel and Word, and quick to learn new billing software
- Clear on the phone and in writing with payers, practices and patients
Responsibilities
- Follow up on unpaid and denied claims until they're resolved
- Submit claims, post payments and handle charge entry
- Build the monthly A/R reports your clients read
- Take billing calls from patients and questions from the practices you support
