About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst team is responsible for various functions and support related to revenue cycle process evaluation and financial reporting and analysis. The Sr. Revenue Cycle Analyst II serves as a team leader and holds additional responsibilities and decision-making authority related to facilitation of various ongoing projects, work groups and other duties such as creating work assignments, training and orientation planning, back up to manager, etc. The employee must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and trouble-shoot inefficiencies and issues, research and make recommendations for improvement, facilitate changes, and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or Business Administration, Finance, or related field OR 8 years of experience in healthcare finance
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a healthcare/revenue cycle analyst role or 7 years of experience within CoxHealth Revenue Integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively present and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as either a facilitator or participant on projects that involve multiple stakeholders, while promoting positive and effective working relations.
  • Ability to inform and educate others, including training of new staff, on procedures and concepts.
  • Ability to write effective summary level documentation for clear and concise communication of data analyzed.
  • Highly proficient in all aspects of MS Office.
  • Highly proficient in Excel with ability to create, modify and trouble-shoot spreadsheets for data analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze complex data, processes and functions of technology.
  • Highly productive in a self-directed manner with ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, track status efficiently, and demonstrate defensible judgement in making independent decisions.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills to permit handling of a large workload across multiple projects and multiple departments.
  • Actively participates in self-development including education, certifications, webinars and conferences.
  • HFMA- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative

  • M.S degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, MBA, MHA or related field
