Senior OneStream Consultant
About The Position
MANTECH International Corporation is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior OneStream Consultant for a future opportunity. This is a fully remote position. MANTECH delivers mission-critical Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and Financial Close and Reporting solutions using the OneStream platform to support the U.S. Government. The Senior OneStream Consultant will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert on complex implementations. The role involves architecting application modules, translating functional requirements into technical designs, guiding Lead Consultants and Associate Consultants, and owning the technical quality of the application. The consultant will help ensure application performance, streamlined security, and scalable data models while working with client stakeholders and teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in systems design, infrastructure, performance tuning and optimization, cloud architecture, software development, and deployment.
- At least 5 years of hands-on OneStream development and technical lead experience on enterprise implementations, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- At least 4 years of OneStream XF installation, environment configuration, database management, and system optimization experience.
- Advanced object-oriented programming proficiency in VB.NET or C# for custom business rules and assemblies.
- SQL expertise with SQL Server or Oracle for complex data manipulation, query optimization, and staging table architectures.
- Deep understanding of Corporate Performance Management (CPM/EPM), multidimensional OLAP cubes, and complex financial rules and consolidations.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher.
- Ability to remain stationary 50% of the time.
- Ability to communicate frequently with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering technical presentations and architecture reviews, and to exchange accurate technical information.

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Experience with the federal PPBE process or federal financial management systems.
- OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) Lead Architect or Core Platform certification.
- Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Hands-on experience supporting government Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and federal security baseline standards.
- Prior management consulting or professional services experience.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex functional PPBE and government financial close requirements into technical architecture blueprints, system designs, and multidimensional data models built for performance and scalability.
- Own the technical quality of application deliverables by establishing development standards, conducting code reviews, and enforcing best practices across business rules, custom dashboards, and data integration pipelines.
- Architect, write, and optimize custom Business Rules using VB.NET/C#, custom assemblies, and advanced SQL procedures.
- Lead system health, memory, and query tuning; diagnose bottlenecks, troubleshoot application log traces, and optimize data loading and consolidation processing.
- Direct end-to-end integration strategies, including automated data pipelines, REST API integrations, security roles and group architecture, SSO configuration, and preparation of ATO technical artifacts.
- Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert in client-facing architecture sessions, identify technical project risks, describe mitigation strategies, and present solutions to senior government stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, delegate tasks, and mentor OneStream Developers and Associate Consultants throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Collaborate across MANTECH to understand client and team needs and deliver high-quality outcomes that exceed customer expectations.
