About The Position

Yamhill County has two regular full-time positions for bilingual Senior Office Specialists to work in the Adult Behavioral Health Division. Your duties in this role will include phone, receptionist services, cancelling and scheduling client appointments, reminder calls, coordinating hospital discharges, scanning documents, creating correspondence and/or PDF forms, adding clients to groups, updating clinicians' schedules in the Electronic Health Record system, processing intakes, enrollments, terminations, and managing petty cash and misc. back-office work. I will also include taking meeting minutes, copying, ordering supplies, and relieving supervisors of administrative tasks such as gathering, analyzing, and preparing reports, processing subpoenas, with minimal direction, and other duties as assigned. Some evening and/or weekend work may be required. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

Requirements

  • One year of clerical or secretarial work experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
  • Applicants will be required to pass skills tests including typing, document production, and Spanish
  • Successful completion of a background check is also required
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel are required
  • Must not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs (Medicaid, Medicare, and other federally funded programs that provide health benefits)
  • Must not be excluded from participation in federal procurement (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and non-procurement activities (Executive Order No. 12549)
