About The Position

The Senior Nutrition Attendant maintains information regarding patient diet orders, menus, special requests, meal counts, and other necessary records. In addition to patient-centered activities, the diet coordinator responds to incoming phone calls, voice messages, and faxes and effectively relays all information. The role works under minimal supervision of the Manager. The position is with Providence St Vincent Medical Center, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, mutual respect, and empowering caregivers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Upon hire, a National Food Handler Card issued by the applicable state, county, or city authority.
• Two years of food service experience.
