About The Position

Lead the strategy, architecture, and ongoing evolution of enterprise load balancing and application delivery platforms to support availability, performance, and resiliency across hybrid and cloud environments. Serve as the subject matter expert for Layer 4–7 traffic management and establish standards, reference architectures, and operational best practices for F5, Citrix ADC, and VMware Avi platforms. Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions, resolve high-impact production challenges, and modernize platforms. Architect and optimize traffic-steering, global server load balancing (GSLB), and application acceleration across on-premises datacenters and public cloud networks, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Requirements

• High school diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience, including 2 years in leadership or management; or an associate's or bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience, including 2 years in leadership or management.

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of network engineering experience, including 5+ years in an architectural role designing mission-critical ADC systems across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler, and VMware NSX ALB.
• Professional-level ADC and cloud certifications preferred, such as F5 CTS/CSE, Citrix CCP-N or higher, VMware VCP-NV/NSX ALB, or AWS, Azure, or GCP Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards, reference architectures, and operational best practices for Layer 4–7 traffic management.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable application delivery solutions.
• Solve high-impact production challenges and drive platform modernization.
• Architect and optimize traffic-steering, global server load balancing (GSLB), and application acceleration patterns across on-premises datacenters and public cloud networks.
