Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of job related experience
  • Experience culturing and testing medically relevant bacteria, yeast and mold
  • Experience in development of novel microbiological experimental procedures and test methods
  • Experience in sterile technique and aseptic workflows
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in vitro and in vivo models is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and guides approved self-initiated or assigned programs of major importance to the assigned organization leading to and/or supporting innovative applications and extensions of new and existing technologies, products and/or businesses.
  • Develops and applies microbiological expertise to evaluate advanced wound care technologies and materials
  • Cultures medically relevant microbes in planktonic and biofilm configurations
  • Develops and executes methods to differentiate and compare microbial performances of internal and competitive materials
  • Generates, documents, and maintains accurate experimental records and datasets suitable for claims support and regulatory‑aligned documentation
  • Analyzes, interprets and contextualizes microbiological data; clearly communicating results and implications to management and project teams
  • Corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
