Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of job related experience
Experience culturing and testing medically relevant bacteria, yeast and mold
Experience in development of novel microbiological experimental procedures and test methods
Experience in sterile technique and aseptic workflows
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in vitro and in vivo models is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs and guides approved self-initiated or assigned programs of major importance to the assigned organization leading to and/or supporting innovative applications and extensions of new and existing technologies, products and/or businesses.
Develops and applies microbiological expertise to evaluate advanced wound care technologies and materials
Cultures medically relevant microbes in planktonic and biofilm configurations
Develops and executes methods to differentiate and compare microbial performances of internal and competitive materials
Generates, documents, and maintains accurate experimental records and datasets suitable for claims support and regulatory‑aligned documentation
Analyzes, interprets and contextualizes microbiological data; clearly communicating results and implications to management and project teams
Corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
