About The Position

As a Senior Merchandiser, you will support strategic sales initiatives in an assigned sales region, working closely with Sales Representatives. The role focuses on executing the SmartStock program, complying with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will build relationships with customers in the region and help Sales Representatives address customer needs and concerns. Professionalism and effective business execution contribute to advancing business for customers, vendors, and the company. The position pays $17.00–$19.00 per hour and offers a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week. Travel is required to job locations within an approximately 60-mile radius. A vehicle allowance, mileage reimbursement, and monthly phone allowance are provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and valid insurance.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
At least 6 months of work experience in customer service, merchandising, or sales.
1–3+ years of related experience.
1–3+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
Maintain and execute the SmartStock program, including racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities.
Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves.
Ensure products are fresh and within date-code parameters.
Respond promptly to customer needs and concerns.
Ensure plan-o-gram execution, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
Identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
Find solutions to potential customer challenges with assistance.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
