Provides assistance to the Branch Manager in ensuring that the Member Services Specialists are performing their functions at a highly satisfactory level. Provides members with prompt, courteous, efficient, and accurate financial services. This role involves supervising Member Services Specialists and Coordinators, releasing holds, waiving fees, verifying cash counts, and performing Member Services Specialist functions as needed. The position also ensures proper reconciliation of money orders and travelers checks, verification of member transactions, balancing of daily work, and assumes duties of the Branch Manager in their absence. Additionally, it includes training new specialists, assisting with performance evaluations, processing mail transactions, maintaining records, ensuring a clean and organized department, opening new accounts, cross-selling products and services, providing account information, and potentially assisting at other branches. The role also involves placing service calls, replenishing cash machines, verifying cash totals at closing, arming/disarming the branch, placing cash orders, and auditing cash machines. Specific duties for the Waipio branch include assisting the Operations Support Manager and responding to SSA requests. Consumer Lending duties involve interviewing loan applicants, verifying application information, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and inputting loan data into the computer system.
