Senior Medical Logistics Analyst Level V-PA-06-5408 (AMC)
About The Position
The Senior Medical Logistics Analyst serves as AMC's senior medical logistics subject matter expert, providing strategic planning, readiness analysis, sustainment assessment, and enterprise integration support for Army medical logistics operations. This position supports senior Army leadership through the analysis of medical logistics policies, readiness requirements, operational plans, contingency plans, and medical sustainment strategies. The analyst develops recommendations that improve medical readiness, supply chain resilience, and enterprise logistics synchronization across AMC, MEDCOM, DHA, AMLC, and Army operational commands. The work for this position shall be performed onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. Contingent Upon Contract Award.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of Army medical logistics experience.
- Minimum 5 years serving on an ASCC or Major Command staff.
- Experience as 70A, 70H, 70K, or 68J equivalent.
- Experience with TWELS, GCSS-A, AESIP, DMLSS, and DCAM.
- Knowledge of MHS transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary logistics teams.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze medical logistics readiness across the Army enterprise.
- Evaluate strategic guidance, Army policies, theater support plans, OPLANs, and CONPLANs.
- Develop executive briefings, white papers, information papers, and strategic recommendations.
- Assess medical materiel readiness, sustainment requirements, and Class VIII supply chain performance.
- Support planning activities involving medical prepositioned stocks and contingency operations.
- Analyze data from DMLSS, DML-ES, GCSS-A, AESIP, TWELS, and related systems.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagements among AMC, MEDCOM, DHA, USAMMA, AMLC, and ASCC organizations.
- Evaluate impacts of Medical Health System transformation initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional medical logistics assessments and planning efforts.
- Support enterprise policy development and sustainment modernization initiatives.
