About The Position

The ASCC Analyst serves as AMC's forward representative supporting Army Service Component Commands by facilitating communication, strategic coordination, sustainment integration, and readiness planning across geographic combatant commands. The analyst ensures AMC capabilities, priorities, and sustainment equities are effectively represented throughout Army operational theaters. The work for this position shall be performed onsite in one of the following locations: Fort Shafter, HI; Fort Bragg, NC; Shaw AFB, SC; Redstone Arsenal, AL; Washington, DC. Contingent Upon Contract Award.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Strategic Studies or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of senior-level Army or Joint staff experience.
  • Military Education Level IV (or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting ASCC or Major Army Command staffs.
  • Experience developing strategic plans and readiness assessments.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between AMC and supported ASCC organizations.
  • Analyze operational requirements, sustainment gaps, and readiness challenges.
  • Coordinate planning activities involving AMC, HQDA, and theater commands.
  • Develop executive summaries, information papers, and strategic briefings.
  • Support operational planning, sustainment planning, and theater engagement activities.
  • Monitor emerging operational requirements and communicate impacts to AMC leadership.
  • Provide policy interpretation and sustainment analysis.
  • Facilitate senior leader engagements, site visits, and working groups.
  • Support Global Force Management and force allocation planning activities.
