About The Position

The Medical Logistics Analyst provides mission-critical analytical and operational support to Headquarters Army Materiel Command (AMC) medical logistics initiatives. Supporting Army-wide readiness and sustainment efforts, this position conducts research, analysis, planning, and reporting activities associated with medical materiel management, Class VIII supply chains, logistics modernization, and force health readiness. The analyst serves as a trusted advisor to Government leadership by transforming complex logistics data into actionable insights, supporting medical sustainment planning, and contributing to the development of policies, briefings, and decision-support products that enhance Army operational readiness across the enterprise. The work for this position shall be performed onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. Contingent Upon Contract Award

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Army, DoD, or federal medical logistics experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting logistics readiness, medical sustainment, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience utilizing Army medical logistics systems, including DML-ES, DMLSS, GCSS-A, AESIP, or comparable enterprise logistics applications.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, and briefing development skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze medical logistics, sustainment, and readiness data to assess Army-wide supply chain performance and support informed decision-making.
  • Collect, validate, and reconcile data from DML-ES, DMLSS, GCSS-A, AESIP, and other Army medical logistics systems.
  • Develop strategic and operational reports, executive summaries, briefing materials, white papers, and information papers for senior leadership.
  • Support inventory management, distribution, redistribution, accountability, and lifecycle management of Class VIII medical materiel.
  • Review and assess theater support plans, operational plans, contingency plans, medical prepositioned stocks, and readiness requirements.
  • Monitor medical logistics performance metrics and identify supply chain risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in integrated planning teams, working groups, and stakeholder engagements supporting Army medical sustainment operations.
  • Support development and evaluation of policies, procedures, and process improvements affecting medical logistics operations.
  • Coordinate with AMC, Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), MEDCOM, USAMMA, DHA, ASCCs, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of medical logistics objectives.
  • Provide analytical support for contingency operations, emergency response activities, and strategic readiness initiatives.
  • Maintain visibility of emerging medical logistics requirements and prepare impact assessments for Government leaders.
