About The Position

The Logistics Management Specialist supports Army enterprise readiness by providing operational and strategic analysis of equipping, modernization, force readiness, and sustainment programs. This position serves as a key integrator between AMC, HQDA, ACOMs, ASCCs, and DRUs to ensure synchronization of logistics, modernization, and readiness initiatives. The incumbent develops executive-level products, evaluates readiness trends, and provides recommendations that enable senior leaders to make data-driven decisions regarding force generation, sustainment, and materiel readiness. The work for this position shall be performed onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. Contingent Upon Contract Award

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of Army logistics experience at the Brigade level or higher.
  • Minimum five (5) years supporting ACOM, ASCC, Theater Army, Corps, or HQDA organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience with GCSS-A, DST, Army readiness reporting systems, and logistics analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools.
  • Experience preparing and presenting information to senior Army leaders.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Army equipping guidance, modernization programs, and readiness requirements across the logistics enterprise.
  • Coordinate logistics synchronization activities among AMC, ACOMs, ASCCs, DRUs, and HQDA stakeholders.
  • Support readiness initiatives including Fleet Management Expansion (FMX), Total Army Readiness Reviews (TARR), Strategic Readiness Assessments, and Focused Unit Readiness programs.
  • Evaluate materiel readiness trends and identify deficiencies affecting operational capability.
  • Develop executive briefings, dashboards, reports, and decision-support products for senior leaders.
  • Analyze logistics and maintenance data utilizing GCSS-A, Decision Support Tool (DST), and other enterprise systems.
  • Recommend improvements to readiness reporting, equipment management, and sustainment processes.
  • Support planning and execution of force modernization and equipment distribution initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagements involving operational readiness and logistics sustainment.
  • Monitor Army readiness metrics and assess impacts of policy, funding, and operational decisions.
  • Prepare analyses supporting strategic logistics and sustainment planning efforts.
