About The Position

Pannos Marketing is seeking an experienced media strategist to serve as a thought leader across digital and traditional media channels. This role is responsible for developing innovative media strategies, guiding campaign performance, providing senior-level client consultation, and supporting the continued growth of the media team through mentorship and subject matter expertise. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in paid media, strong analytical skills, and a passion for helping financial institutions achieve measurable growth through effective media planning and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in digital media and strategy, with a strong focus on paid media leadership
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-channel campaigns and delivering measurable business outcomes
  • Experience working within or alongside financial institutions (banks, credit unions, fintech) strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead client relationships and present at an executive level
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members in a fast-paced agency or consulting environment
  • Deep expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, programmatic platforms, and analytics tools (GA4, GTM)
  • Strong understanding of attribution, incrementality, and performance measurement frameworks
  • Experience with CRM/automation platforms and first-party data strategies
  • Working knowledge of SEO, CRO, personalization, and full-funnel marketing strategy
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the development of integrated, multi-channel media strategies aligned with client business objectives and growth goals.
  • Serve as a senior client advisor, translating data into actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps.
  • Serve as the mentor for media team members, providing coaching and professional development assistance.
  • Provide thought leadership in paid media, including search, social, programmatic, display, and emerging channels.
  • Develop audience targeting, testing, attribution, and optimization frameworks to improve campaign performance.
  • Guide budget allocation and investment strategies to maximize efficiency and return on investment.
  • Provide strategic expertise across digital and traditional media channels, including television, radio, print, out-of-home, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Establish measurement frameworks, conversion tracking approaches, and performance reporting best practices.
  • Mentor and coach media team members on strategy development, platform best practices, and industry trends.
  • Partner with account, creative, web, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
  • Oversee media billing execution, ensuring all billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and vendor payments are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Partner with account service and finance teams to monitor budgets, pacing, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Support new business initiatives through proposal development, media recommendations, and participation in prospect presentations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform changes, and innovations to help evolve agency media offerings.
