About The Position

As a Senior Media Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of integrated media strategies that elevate DAZN’s position in the North American market. As a Senior Media Planning Manager, you will lead the end-to-end planning, management, and optimisation of integrated media campaigns. Partnering closely with Brand, Growth, Creative, Data, Product, and external media agencies, you will ensure DAZN’s campaigns deliver maximum reach, impact, and performance across channels including TV, digital, OOH, social, programmatic, and partnerships. You will develop annual and campaign-specific media strategies, manage agency relationships, oversee investment recommendations, and ensure plans are aligned with commercial objectives and market insights. You will also evaluate performance, refine targeting approaches, and deliver actionable recommendations to drive efficiency and effectiveness. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong cross-channel media expertise, deep market knowledge, and the ability to lead complex, high-profile campaigns in a fast-paced environment influenced by major sports cycles.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in media planning, strategy, or comms planning within a media agency or in-house team
  • Deep understanding of the North American media landscape and consumer behaviour
  • Cross-channel expertise across TV, digital, social, OOH, and programmatic
  • Ability to translate insights and data into strong media recommendations
  • Strong analytical ability and experience with measurement, reporting, and effectiveness tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced campaigns with multiple priorities
  • Experience working with creative, research, and data teams to inform media approaches
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Leading development and execution of integrated media strategies across all channels
  • Managing media agencies and ensuring best-in-class planning, buying, and optimisation
  • Overseeing campaign delivery across TV, digital, social, OOH, audio, and partnerships
  • Translating commercial goals, audience insights, and research into robust media plans
  • Managing budgets, investment allocation, forecasting, and pacing across campaigns
  • Reviewing campaign performance and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Developing measurement frameworks and supporting MMM, attribution, and uplift studies
  • Guiding creative teams on media-informed asset needs and format best practices
  • Collaborating with Brand, Growth, Product, and regional teams to align plans with business goals
  • Identifying strategic opportunities based on consumer behaviour, trends, and competitive analysis
  • Ensuring plans follow industry best practices and support continuous improvement
  • Presenting strategies, plans, and results clearly to senior leadership
  • Contributing to long-term media planning and brand-building strategies
