About The Position

Flip is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for North America to drive the company's US presence from traction to scale. This hybrid role involves regional marketing, content localization, and event management. The successful candidate will adapt and create content for the US market, plan and represent Flip at industry events, collaborate closely with the US Sales team, and work as an embedded member of a Europe-based marketing team. As the first US-based marketer, this role acts as a bridge between the European Marketing team and US colleagues, bringing local market insights to global initiatives. The role requires confidence in setting priorities and driving work forward during US hours, with effective syncing during team overlap. It suits an individual who enjoys owning their day-to-day, writing and localizing content, managing event logistics, and shaping a market from an early stage.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, content marketing, regional marketing, or a similar B2B role, ideally in B2B SaaS marketing to an HR audience.
  • Strong copywriter with a genuine interest in localization, working knowledge of SEO, and curiosity about GEO/AI search optimization.
  • Broader marketing exposure across digital, campaigns, and demand generation.
  • Proven ability to turn market research, sales feedback, competitor insights, and customer language into practical US positioning, campaign ideas, localized website content, and sales enablement.
  • Experience supporting a company, product, or website expansion into a new region, ideally including US market entry, local demand generation, event strategy, and close collaboration with a regional sales team.
  • A self-starter who's comfortable working independently and making decisions without daily oversight.
  • A strong collaborator who thrives as part of a distributed, international team across time zones.
  • Native-level US English with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly within the US for events plus 1–2 times a year to Europe for team offsites.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, early-stage market environment.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools daily to write, research, and work more efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience being the "first" or one of the first marketing hires in a new region/market.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot).
  • Experience localizing content across multiple markets, not just EN-US.
  • Go-to-market experience in the manufacturing and/or retail industries, ideally with an existing network of industry contacts and relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and own Flip's presence at US trade shows and industry events end-to-end, including venue/booth logistics, vendor and budget management, promotion, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Represent Flip on the ground and work closely with the US Sales team as a day-to-day partner, aligning event and content priorities with pipeline goals and coordinating on lead handoff and follow-up.
  • Support and localize digital marketing campaigns (paid, email, social) for the US market, and work with the US Sales team to prioritize target accounts and build regional demand generation programs.
  • Track and report on US marketing performance, and use AI tools daily across content, research, campaigns, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain a clear understanding of US buyer personas, regional market dynamics, competitor positioning, industry trends, and category language.
  • Partner with Sales to turn early customer conversations, objections, win/loss insights, and pipeline feedback into sharper messaging, better enablement, stronger campaigns, and practical learnings for the global marketing team.
  • Help establish the US marketing operating rhythm from the ground up, including campaign calendars, event priorities, local content needs, agency/vendor coordination, lead follow-up processes, and repeatable reporting.
  • Own the marketing-side localization of getflip.com for the US market, including page copy, proof points, calls to action, customer language, industry terminology, SEO/GEO keywords, and conversion-focused recommendations.
  • Collaborate with global web, brand, product marketing, and content teams to adapt the US website experience for US search behavior, buying expectations, competitive context, and funnel performance.
  • Work as an integrated member of a marketing team based in Europe, attending recurring calls, communicating proactively across time zones, and bringing a US market perspective to global campaign planning.

Benefits

  • Flexibility to work from home (remote-first).
  • Occasional team events, workshops, or meetings in Berlin or Stuttgart offices.
  • Highly motivated and committed people in a relaxed working atmosphere.
  • Opportunity to actively shape Flip and enable the growth process of a young tech company.
  • Regular team events and culture days.
  • Opportunity to work abroad (remote work discussed in interview).
