About The Position

Monitors channel performance analytics to recommend, develop, and execute strategies that profitably grow business, market share, and applicable measures in the respective channels. Builds and manages relationships with internal and external partners that are key to the sales and distribution of products per assigned channel. Maintains an understanding of channel business objectives to develop strategic and tactical plans, integrate product channel plans across assigned portfolios, maximize opportunities, and minimize risks. Works across BMO to develop solutions that optimize marketing channel performance and advance the customer experience. Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group. Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business. Assists in the development of strategic plans. Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making. Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy. Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues. Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting. Participates in the design, implementation and management of core business/group processes. Leverages channel analytics to manage and optimize channel solutions. Works with stakeholders to ensure quality and timeliness of strategic implementations. Executes work within the channel in compliance with regulatory requirements. Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus. Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support. Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules. Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations. Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Requirements

Typically between 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree in related field of study
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
Experience in the investment industry and within channels
Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
