About The Position

Tonic.ai is seeking an AI-native Senior Marketing Manager, Demand Gen to manage the top of the sales funnel, from initial customer interaction to user sign-up. This role is responsible for all activities preceding a customer engagement. The position reports to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing and involves collaboration across multiple product lines and go-to-market strategies (PLG, ABM). Key responsibilities include owning paid channels, email marketing, and ABM execution, with performance measured by pipeline generation and paid conversions. The role requires hands-on campaign management, including writing ad copy, running workflows, launching and optimizing campaigns, and conducting experiments. The successful candidate will be proactive in seeking necessary assets, support, and budget to accelerate progress.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years in demand generation, growth marketing, or acquisition-focused roles.
  • AI-native operator: daily use of AI tools for speed, automation, creative generation, and unblocking tasks without external dependencies.
  • Direct experience with acquisition for a PLG (product-led growth) or freemium motion.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager campaigns directly.
  • Experience running email marketing programs, including copy, sequencing, and deliverability.
  • ABM experience, including understanding account selection, multi-threading, and driving account engagement.
  • Experience operating in a B2B SaaS startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and building processes.
  • Comfortable being held accountable for pipeline numbers, not just activity metrics.
  • Strong writing skills for ad copy and email copy.

  • Familiarity with Clay, Apollo, or similar enrichment/sequencing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid acquisition channels including Google Ads (search campaigns for all three products, with attention to Structural's top-performing keywords), paid social (LinkedIn, with potential expansion to Meta, Reddit, etc.), display, retargeting, and YouTube.
  • Manage acquisition email marketing sequences targeting new prospects for Fabricate and Textual audiences.
  • Coordinate with SDRs on email sequencing and messaging, owning the overall strategy and copy.
  • Execute account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns for Tonic Textual.
  • Implement direct mail campaigns for high-intent ABM segments where digital channels are less effective, testing creative, list, and offer combinations with measurable tracking.
  • Drive a continuous test-and-learn approach across creative, audience, and channel combinations.
  • Document experiment results to inform the broader marketing team and identify scalable strategies.
  • Optimize landing pages and conversion points for paid traffic to maximize signup conversion rates.
