About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist to support the Energy & Environment (E&E) team. This remote role leads the creation, design, and execution of internal and external communications aligned with integrated Marketing and Communications strategies. The work combines creative design, strategic marketing planning, multimedia production, and web development. The specialist supports development of the fiscal-year Marketing and Communications strategic plan for Environmental Services and its campaigns, analyzes performance metrics, and recommends communication tactics. The role also produces graphic and layout materials, supports the E&E web presence on Amentum.com, develops social media strategy and content, creates multimedia assets, and manages production processes and external vendors through final delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior-level marketing, graphics, or communications role.
Strong expertise in graphic design, layout, artwork, and final production file preparation.
Experience with web content management and coding or layout systems.
Demonstrated capability in video, audio, and animation creation and editing.
Solid understanding of social media strategy, execution, and metric analysis.
Excellent vendor management skills, including sourcing quotes and managing production timelines.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Support development of the fiscal-year Marketing and Communications strategic plan for Environmental Services and campaigns.
Analyze performance metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for communication tactics.
Design and lay out marketing and communication materials, including posters and newsletters; manage subject matter expert revisions and prepare final production files.
Support the design, development, layout, and ongoing maintenance of the E&E presence on Amentum.com using specialized environments.
Create interactive developments to increase user engagement.
Develop, implement, and guide the long-term strategy for social media platforms.
Create and edit video, audio, and animation assets for digital storytelling.
Oversee end-to-end production management.
Research and coordinate with external vendors, obtain quotes, manage timelines, and ensure final products are delivered on time.
