About The Position

Join a high-impact team as a Senior Manual QA Tester, driving quality for large-scale integration projects in a collaborative, hybrid environment. You'll play a critical part in ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality between web portals and backend billing systems across multiple applications. Requirements

• Proven expertise with test management tools and writing robust test cases.
• Demonstrated full testing life cycle experience: from requirements gathering and test planning to execution, defect triage, and reporting.
• Strong background in testing integration points between multiple applications.
• Experience with web services (API) testing and basic SQL querying.
• Solid understanding of database concepts relevant to QA.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Octane for test management planning.
• Proficient in JIRA for defect reporting and requirement tracking.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Java/Selenium) and willingness to interface with automation teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements (primarily using JIRA) to design comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
• Perform end-to-end manual testing across multiple applications, including web portal and backend system integrations.
• Execute test cases, meticulously document results, and report defects using established test management and defect reporting tools (Octane/JIRA).
• Triage, investigate, and help pinpoint the root cause of defects across integrated systems.
• Conduct web services (API) and database (SQL) testing to validate data flows and system interactions.
• Collaborate with automation teams to identify automation candidates and flag stable functionality for automated test coverage.
• Participate in continuous process improvement with peers and leadership.
