About The Position

Input 1 is hiring a Manual Software QA Tester to help ensure the operational readiness and accuracy of its software through manual testing. The tester will create efficient test case scenarios, document and communicate test results to the team and stakeholders, provide technical support, and collaborate on bug reports. The role serves as a conduit between the customer community and the software development team. Performance is evaluated based on the effectiveness of testing features intended for production, and feedback may be used during annual performance reviews. The position is fully remote, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Compensation is $33–$40 per hour, paid biweekly.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in software testing.
Strong knowledge of IT and mastery of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for manual QA testing.
A service-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask.
Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Jira, and Postman.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with SaaS software.
