About The Position
Electronic Arts is seeking a QA Senior Tester embedded in Development to test, document, and analyze games during production. The role involves understanding game design, ensuring features are tested appropriately, and verifying that game quality meets players’ expectations. The position is hybrid and requires working at least three days per week in EA’s Orlando office.
Requirements
- Previous QA experience.
- Experience with collaboration tools.
- Experience with different games.
- Knowledge of testing practices.
- In-depth understanding of games and testing methodologies.
- Written and verbal English-language skills.
- Experience with different platforms, game styles, and genres; knowledge of the market and competitive games.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of testing or planning tools.
- Experience with JIRA or other defect-tracking software.
- Knowledge of American football.
- Knowledge of Madden.
Responsibilities
- Test, document, and analyze games during production.
- Understand game design and ensure features are tested in the correct way.
- Verify that game quality meets players’ expectations.
- Apply appropriate testing methodologies and identify effective tools.
- Communicate with the team in written and verbal English and support knowledge sharing internally and outside the studio.
- Evaluate games in the context of the market, different platforms, styles, genres, and competition.
