About The Position

The Senior Manager supports MBP’s Disputes and Investigations service line by providing technical support for construction delay and disruption claims, litigation support, and investigative consulting for attorneys, government agencies, contractors, and commercial clients. The role is a key contributor to client engagements, managing project timelines, supervising and mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the technical accuracy, quality, and integrity of work products. The position oversees technical analyses and discovery support, including reviewing large volumes of documents and coordinating with expert teams and clients. The Senior Manager may lead substantial portions of projects or entire projects, manage budgets and schedules, communicate findings and progress to management, and serve as a primary contact for clients and legal counsel. The role also contributes to expert reports, rebuttals, memos, and visual exhibits for arbitration or trial, as well as proposals, presentations, and relationship-building activities that support business development. The position requires 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in construction, office management, civil engineering, or claims consulting. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant equivalent experience is required. The role reports directly to the Area Group Manager and may supervise junior staff. It may involve travel to MBP offices and client locations, and extended work schedules—including evenings, weekends, or company holidays—may be required for prolonged periods to meet client or court deadlines.
